About Us
You Should Feel Confident About Your Next Move
Buying or selling a home is a big decision. With so much money on the line and so many details to manage, it's easy to wonder if you're making the right choices.
You shouldn't have to figure it all out on your own.
Clarkson Santoro helps San Ramon and Tri-Valley homeowners understand their options, create a clear plan, and move forward with confidence.
Real Estate Can Get Complicated Fast
What should you do to your home before you sell?
What is it really worth?
When should you put it on the market?
How do you know if an offer is actually a good one?
And if you're buying, how much should you offer without overpaying or losing the home you really want?
There are a lot of decisions to make, and getting one wrong can cost you time, money and unnecessary stress.
Selling or buying a home can be stressful and confusing, but it doesn't have to be.
Local Experience You Can Trust | Personal Guidance You Can Count On
Clarkson Santoro is the family real estate team of father and son-in-law Bill Clarkson and Tony Santoro.
We've spent decades living, working, raising our families and serving the community here in San Ramon and the Tri-Valley. We know these neighborhoods because this isn't simply where we sell real estate.
It's home.
As a family team, trust matters to us. So does the responsibility that comes when someone trusts us with one of the largest financial decisions of their life.
That's why when you work with Clarkson Santoro, you work directly with Bill and Tony. You aren't handed off to a rotating team of assistants or left wondering what's happening with your transaction.
We listen. We make a plan together. And we communicate with you throughout the process.
Experience Matters — Especially When the Unexpected Happens
Real estate transactions rarely go exactly according to plan.
A buyer gets nervous. An inspection uncovers a problem. An appraisal comes in unexpectedly. The market changes. A negotiation gets complicated.
That's when experience matters most.
Our clients benefit from the combination of Bill's decades of real estate experience and Tony's attention to detail, modern marketing approach and understanding of today's market.
Together, we've helped hundreds of homeowners navigate the decisions, negotiations and unexpected challenges that come with buying and selling real estate.

Meet Bill Clarkson
Broker Owner | Former Mayor of San Ramon
Bill Clarkson
Bill hasn't simply watched San Ramon grow—he's been part of the community for nearly its entire history as a city.
He began his real estate business in San Ramon in 1978 and has spent his career helping people buy and sell homes throughout San Ramon and the Tri-Valley.
That experience gives Bill something you can't learn from a database.
He knows the neighborhoods. He knows how the local market has changed. He understands what makes one home different from another—even when they look similar on paper. And after decades of transactions, he knows how to recognize and solve problems before they derail a sale.
Bill's connection to San Ramon extends far beyond real estate.
He has served the community as Mayor of San Ramon, President of the San Ramon Valley Unified School District Board, Chairman of the San Ramon Chamber of Commerce, and Charter President of the Dougherty Valley/San Ramon Rotary Club.
For Bill, serving a real estate client is built on the same principle as serving a community:
Listen carefully, earn people's trust and help them make good decisions.
Meet Tony Santoro
Broker
Tony Santoro
Tony grew up in San Ramon and now raises his own family here.
Before entering real estate, Tony spent years working in veterinary medicine and medical research—fields where details matter and overlooking something small can have significant consequences.
He brings that same attention to detail to real estate.
But Tony also brings something very different to the team: a strong background in design, photography, videography and marketing.
When selling a home, presentation matters. Buyers often decide whether they're interested in a property before they ever walk through the front door.
Tony oversees Clarkson Santoro's approach to marketing homes so that each property is presented clearly and professionally—from photography and video to online marketing and the story we tell about the home itself.
He also closely follows the local housing market and uses current sales, inventory, buyer activity and market trends to help clients understand what's happening right now, not what was happening six months ago.
For Tony, the goal isn't to overwhelm you with real estate data.
It's to help you understand what the information means for your decision.

We Meet & Listen
We start with a conversation about you—not us.
We'll talk about what you're trying to accomplish, what's important to you, your timing and any concerns you have.
And you can ask us anything.
-

We Build a Plan Together
Once we understand your goals, we'll explain your options and create a clear strategy for your move.
No pressure. No confusing real estate jargon.
You'll understand what we're recommending and why.
-

We Guide You Through The Process
Once the plan is in motion, we stay involved.
We'll communicate with you, handle the details, help solve problems and make sure you understand what's happening from beginning to end.
You make the decisions. We make sure you have the information and guidance you need to make them confidently.
Your Home Is More Than a Transaction
Where you live affects nearly every part of your life.
It's where your family gathers.
Where your kids grow up.
Where friends come together.
And for most people, it's also one of the largest financial assets they'll ever own.
You deserve to have someone representing you who understands both sides of that equation.
Our job isn't simply to get a house sold or help you write an offer.
Our job is to help you make a move you'll feel good about after the paperwork is signed and the boxes are unpacked.
Ready to Make Your Next Move?
You don't need to have everything figured out before you call us.
That's what the first conversation is for.
Tell us where you are, what you're thinking about doing and what's important to you.
We'll help you understand your options and decide what makes sense from there.
Selling or buying a home can be stressful and confusing, but it doesn't have to be.
